On Saturday, April 6, 2024, the E.L. Haynes High School Basketball program will host a clinic for youth in grades 3, 4 and 5 who attend Haynes from 10am to 1pm. Head Varsity Basketball Coach Andre Lindsey, will lead the program along with players from the Varsity boys’ basketball team.

The clinic will teach dribbling, passing, shooting, rebounding and how to play defense, amongst other intangibles. The clinic will also incorporate lead-up games, which will enhance learning the fundamentals of the game.

The program will take place at the E.L. Haynes High School gymnasium, located at 4501 Kansas Ave. NW, Washington, DC 20011. If you have questions, please email Brent Bass, Director of Athletics, at bbass@elhaynes.org.

El sábado 6 de abril de 2024, el E.L. El programa de baloncesto de Haynes High School organizará una clínica para jóvenes en los grados 3, 4 y 5 que asisten a Haynes de 10am a 1pm. El entrenador principal de baloncesto del Varsity, Andre Lindsey, dirigirá el programa junto con los jugadores del equipo de baloncesto masculino del Varsity.

En la clínica se enseñará a regatear, pasar, tirar, rebotear y cómo jugar en defensa, entre otros intangibles. La clínica también incorporará juegos preliminares, que mejorarán el aprendizaje de los fundamentos del juego.
